Building a future where no young person faces Type 1 diabetes alone

The Problem: Too many youths in Uganda are fighting Type 1 diabetes in silence, without diagnosis, support, or medicine.

The Response:     D1FY.

We are a Ugandan charity built on action. We believe that in the face of hard times, the only acceptable response is to step in and help.

What drives us:

  • Early Detection: Finding the undiagnosed through community testing.

  • Unwavering Support: Creating “Comradery” networks so no one feels alone.

  • Lifelong Skills: Educating families to manage the condition with confidence.

  • Essential Care: Delivering medical kits to those who cannot afford them.

We are here to fill the gap, save lives, and build a healthier future for Uganda’s youth.

At D1FY, we don’t just offer help. We offer a community.
